ZeroLeak uses advanced AI models running directly on your device to embed a unique pattern into your images. This pattern is distributed across the entire image at a level that's imperceptible to human vision but can be reliably detected by our scanning technology.

The watermark contains a unique identifier that links to both the original image and the contact you shared it with, allowing you to trace any leaked copies back to their source.

No. The watermark is designed to be completely invisible to the human eye. Your images will look exactly the same before and after watermarking. The changes are made at a sub-perceptual level that doesn't affect the visual quality of your photos.

Absolutely. ZeroLeak is built with privacy as the core principle:

• 100% Offline: All processing happens on your device
• No Cloud Storage: Your images are never uploaded anywhere
• No Account Required: Use the app without creating an account
• No Data Collection: We don't track, collect, or have access to your data

The only data that leaves your device is anonymized subscription verification with Apple's App Store.

Our watermarking technology is designed to be resilient to common image modifications. The watermark is distributed across the entire image, so even if parts are cropped or the image is compressed, there's often enough information remaining to identify the source.

However, severe modifications (like heavy filters, extreme crops, or re-photography of a screen) may degrade the watermark. The scan results will show you a confidence level indicating how reliably the watermark was detected.

ZeroLeak uses fuzzy matching to identify watermarks even when they've been partially degraded. The app shows you a match percentage:

• 90-100%: Very high confidence - definite match
• 70-90%: High confidence - likely match, image may have been modified
• 50-70%: Moderate confidence - possible match
• Below 50%: Low confidence - may be a different image

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your iOS device:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. Tap your Apple ID at the top
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Find ZeroLeak and tap it
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You can continue using the app until then.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app will remove:

• Your vault (all stored original and watermarked images)
• Your contacts list
• All watermark records

This data cannot be recovered after deletion. However, any watermarked images you've already shared will still contain their watermarks and can be scanned if you reinstall the app and recreate the contacts.

No! ZeroLeak works completely offline. You can watermark images and scan for leaks without any internet connection. The only features that require internet are:

• Initial subscription purchase
• Subscription status verification (periodic)
• Sharing watermarked images to other apps
